We want your child to have the support they deserve.
Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a qualified Specialist Teacher (Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia, Specific Learning Differences and Barriers to Literacy).
I have teaching experience in mainstream classroom in KS1 and KS2, and following this I spent many happy years as a SEN Teacher, which is where my heart lies.
I strongly believe that children and young people with SEN should receive the very best teaching and by harnessing their individual learning strengths and motivation, progress will result. Now, I work as a private Specialist Teacher and I am fortunate enough to work with some amazing children and families, whether this is self-funded or funded through the LA or EOTIS.
Our Approach
Coeus Corner Specialist Teaching believes that confidence, empowerment and relationship-building are at the centre of Specialist Teaching. Wherever your child or young person is in their learning journey, we can offer a progressive, supportive teaching approach to give them the skills they need to feel successful. We firmly believe that early reading and writing foundations need to be in place in order to secure future progress, and once these foundations of learning, knowledge and understanding are built, then strong progress towards learning goals will follow.
